The Bible has some pretty cool imagery of the road… The Prodigal Son returning home, being greeted by his father a long way up the road,  Jesus appearing on the road to Emmaus, Paul’s encounter with the risen Lord on the road to Damascus, the overwhelming theme here is God meets us where we are.   He meets us in our shame, in our disbelief and in our times of joy.

The visual of the road evokes many thoughts here at Celebration.  Many of us have wandered treacherous roads, broken roads and roads less traveled.  We recognize these sometimes desperate places; sometimes rough dark places and the sometimes joyous journey.  We also know that God loves us too much to leave us where we are, no matter what road we are on.

One thing we know for certain is that no matter the road you are traveling, you are welcome here.
