Rev. Walter Jones, or "Pastor Walt" as many of us call him, while no longer our Interim Pastor here at Celebration Church with Pastor Matt's arrival,  remains a part of our fellowship.  Pastor Walt and his wife, Marcia, retired at the end of the 2010 after serving as a RCA pastor for nearly forty years.  Pastor Walt has served congregations in Illinois, Michigan, Texas, Iowa and most recently completed nearly eleven years in New York.

Pastor Walt was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena.  His wife, Marcia, was born and raised right here in Muskegon.  The Joneses have two married children and three grandchildren.  After retirement, they moved back to the Muskegon area and through mutual friends and what Pastor Walt describes as the "amazing movement of the Lord's hand" came into contact with Celebration Church.

Pastor Walt will be with us filling our pulpit from time to time and helping Pastor Matt out with general pastoral care work in whatever ways he can.  He can be reached through the church office at 231-759-2104 or at home at 231-747-7971.
